A very inspiring week!

This has been a very inspiring week. On monday, I attended the presentation of the latest book of one of my favourite contemporary writers, Javier sierra, with his "El Maestro del Prado".

And one day later, we experienced the first snow storm of the year. So now, I'm painting with batteries fully charged!.

A couple asked me for a special request. They had fallen in love with the sculpture of the Victory of Samothrace when they saw it at the Louvre Museum, so when they had a daughter, they called her Victoria. They wanted to always remember it with my painting on their house.
These are the pictures of the painting, on the studio, framed and ready to go!
I receive very different requests, and I will keep on surprising you with them on the blog!

New Book!!

I'm very pleased to announce the great volume of Schiffer Publishing's, The Contemporary Illustrated Pin-Up.
This book is a stunning presentation of today's pin-up creators and works by fourteen other artists from around the world besides me.

In addition, I would like to let you know that Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. will be at New York Comic Con from October 11-14, 2012, at the Javits Center in New York City. If you plan to be there, pick up your copy!

Anatomy work

This is a new work done for a physiotherapy clinic. I worked in 30"x 40" boards with acrylics or, better said, mixed media. Then, they were printed on Dibond panels for a wall of 20'. Thanks to Scott Eaton for his collaboration on the model's photos and to Simón Ordoñez, for caring for my back.

I´m back!

 Hello! I'm back!
I have been ill for some time. It was my back; very painful but not serious. Now I have my treatment and everything is going much better.
I haven't been able to paint, but it was a good time to stop in order to think and redirect some things.
Now I've started painting again. I've changed the site and I've started this blog to be in touch with all of you more directly.
I just wanted to thank all the people who have been writing to me this whole time.
My recovery was much easier knowing that there's lots of people who are waiting for my new works.
I'll be doing commissions again, so I'll be waiting to hear your ideas!
 Thanks again!!
